The TA Advisor, Campus Recruiting is a brand new, critical role at UL Solutions. Located in either Suzhou, Shanghai or Guangzhou, this person will be working the Campus Lead and Regional TA team to drive our early talent strategy, including building the UL Solutions brand On campus, partnering with various functional teams to execute recruiting plans, and supporting the development & delivery of our intern program, with the goal of enabling UL Solutions to be the employer of choice for top talents.
This person will develop relationships with internal business leads to influence and lead them through the campus recruiting process, advise On recruiting best practices and trends, and yield results. They will also partner closely with campus Career Services personnel, faculty, student clubs, and associations to drive targeted engagement efforts & educate students On what a career at UL Solutions can bring.
1. Partner with Campus Lead in the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of campus recruiting strategies
2. Execute engagement strategies & Annual Operating Plans across key universities, ensuring the right presence/attendance at career fairs, networking events, student/diversity organization partnerships, classroom presentations, and interviews.
3. Partner with business teams to managing the campus recruitment lifecycle, including but not limited to develop job desc
4. Identify appropriate team members to represent UL Solutions On campus & provide training prior to engagement events & interviews
5. Manage candidate and hiring team communications, including preparing students & intern managers for the Summer Internship Program and College collaboration program
6. Maintain and develop new channels that attract and help build young talent pipelines
7. By working with Employer Branding and Marketing team, to design students’ engagement events and activities to enhance UL Solutions branding, such as building campus ambassador program, design, organize and execute live broadcast
8. Attend On-campus events and activities, with heavy travel in the Fall and Spring, where applicable.
9. Assess the overall effectiveness of the recruiting season with the business and key universities, using data to make improvements to increase our success.
10. Provide teams with insight On trends, external benchmarking, and applicability as it relates to campus recruiting
11. Support regional TA team On daily hiring when campus activities are in a low season
What makes you a great fit:
1. University Degree (Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree), generally 2-3 years of campus recruiting experience in a corporate environment is preferred
2. High potential of professional maturity and track record of developing strong client partnerships
3. Experience partnering with university faculty, student groups, and professors
4. Experience designing, leading, or executing recruitment & internship program
5. Familiar with various campus recruitment channels, campus recruitment process and campus-enterprise collaboration
6. Ability to travel during Autumn and Spring
7. Excellent execution skills and project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities
8. Ability to think innovatively and take actions independently in an environment that is often ambiguous and dynamic
9. Passionate, proactive, forward thinking with great self-reflection and change mindset
10. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
11. Proficient MS skills (Excel, PPT, etc.)
12. Good English skill in both written and spoken
