Work under the supervision of the global team and support the renewable energy certification projects globally. Work closely with the Segment leader and Global team, the Engineer will be responsible for Project execution, Customer management and expanding UL Renewables Certification services in China.
Use the expertise in the approval of design load calculations for Ｏnshore and offshore wind turbines. Support team for the certification of control and safety systems, state of art and innovative wind turbine designs. Aero-elastic calculations, structural dynamics, vibration and dynamic controls will be Ｏne important technical aspects of your job. You will be responsible for administration requirements relating to certification, independent execution and timely completion of projects by analyzing project scope and determining project specifications, coordinating with clients during the course of the project. As a part of an international certification body you should be a well-organized worker, responsible and a team player. The working group you will join is multi-cultured with colleagues of different engineering professions and working experiences. It's important to communicate with business partners and customer relationship management in China and abroad.
1. Project Management of certification projects – working together with Regulatory bodies and customers
2. Project Co-ordination, execution and the customer communication
3. Collaboration and cooperation with the global team
4. Integration of continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job
5. Technical review of the documentation from clients
6. Optimization of work processes
7. Evaluation of the load assumptions according to the international standards like IEC 61400-1
8. Verification of the load assumptions with software like Flex5, Bladed or Samcef

Job Requisition:
1. Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, mechanical or dynamic systems or any equivalent field. Minimum 2-5 years of in wind industrial
2. The experience in the area of wind turbine load simulation and experience with the use of the common IEC standards for wind turbines Experience in commercialized numerical simulation tools is desirable
3. Excellent organizational and time management skills
4. Good communication skills (English speaking and writing)
5. Customer focus, commitment and independent work
6. Strong technical aptitude and ability to work in a fast paced consultancy environment
7. Experience in the continuous development of work processes (Lean Six Sigma) is desirable
8. Hands Ｏn experience in project management
9. Hands-on experience Ｏn manufacturing processes
10. Willingness to travel (within China and outside the country)
