Role Summary
The product cybersecurity manager leads the cyber security planning and tracking activities for serial production programs, and provides assistance to the program team in delivering the work products of the security case and in complying with ISO 21434.
Key Responsibilities
? Lead cyber security planning activities in core or application programs in compliance with ISO 21434 and Magna cyber security development process in collaboration with the program manager. These activities include but are not limited to:
o Lead creation of Cybersecurity Project Plan, Development Interface Agreement(s), and Security Case o Lead project security audits and assessments for process compliance activities o Support Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) in collaboration with other functional engineers, and support the team for TARA updates
o Support Security Concept development o Support Security Requirement development, Security Requirement review, and work closely with functional engineers to ensure the execution of these requirements
o Support software engineers in vulnerability analysis (static code analysis, known vulnerability analysis) and support tracking cyber security implementation issues ba
Key Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering/ Systems Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Computer Science or equivalent (Master’s preferred)
? 4-8 years’ relevant product and or technology experience regarding the Responsibility/ Activities (listed above) for automotive electronics serial development projects (mandatory).

? Knowledge of ISO 21434 is required.
? Knowledge of UN WP.29 R155 is preferred

? Solid background in systems engineering, electrical hardware engineering, or software engineering in the Automotive or Aerospace industry.
? Strong experience with CAN protocol is required.
? Experience with other communication protocols, such as I2C, SPI, or UART, is a plus.
? Experience with Ethernet is required. Knowledge of common protocols, such as TLS, IPsec, or IEEE 802.1x, is a plus.
? Experience with standard security protocols in common connectivity such as WiFi, Bluetooth, or USB is a plus.
? Knowledge of basic cryptography is required.
? Experience with firewall or Intrusion Detection and Prevention System is a plus.
? Experience with Linux or QNX operating system security is a plus.
? Experience with failure analysis techniques (FMEA, FTA, …) and reliability engineering knowledge a plus.
? Comfortable leading work with technical processes.
? Experience developing technical processes, procedures, guidelines, and templates a plus.
