WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
- Bachelor degree in Logistics or related field.
- 3 years logistics related experience, at least 1 to 2 years’ experience of WMS Good understanding of warehouse operations.
- Experience in Microsoft System Engineering (Windows2007, SQL Database), a MCSE certification would be preferred.
- Experience in Cisco product. Familiar with the setup of network, ASTRO/GTS/COGNOS system knowledge, routers, switchboards, wireless access points and so on.
- Good Oral and Written English.
- Clear communicator.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
System
- Support local Business plan & projects analysis & give proposals.
- Support warehouse to reach operational efficiency goals by optimizing the working process
- Maintenance of the warehouse and related systems
- Handle day to day trouble shooting in the warehousing system. Contact with Helpdesk to fix local issues or incidents.
- Make proposals for change requests on the warehouse system, review the benefit & impact of new CRs for local CDC.
- Responsible for implementation of new system releases and education for end users in local CDC.
- Support range management & warehouse capacity assessment by pallet types, Logistics set up maintenance and related jobs.
- Responsible to install new software or software releases on all hardware used by warehouse exclusively, support maintenance works in warehouse environment.
- Responsible to give first level support for end-user regarding application and system problems, IT-incidents, phone or security system incidents.
- Monitor the CDC systems on OS and database level and maintain the runtime environment.
- Be able to work in a team and cooperate with other functions in a polite and active manner.
Inbound Planning
- In alignment with receiving slot and handling capacity, supply the operations with inbound receiving schedule.
- Secure effective inbound queue management routine and its implementation.
- Develop and use the inbound prioritization tool to secure highest goods availability at lowest possible detention & demurrage cost.
Outbound Planning
- Supply the stakeholders with DCGAPS flow planning schedule from sending to receiving within agreed timeframe and secure the on-time delivery and service level.
- Control and continuously improve the equipment utilization for outbound deliveries with the support from operation team.
- Support and co-ordinate the stock build up for new store opening, or other on-line activities or special requests.
Internal & External Communication
- Internal communicate about handling capacity and container queue on daily basis.
- Secure the implementation of agreed service on GSP-LA
- Communicate with other stakeholders (e.g. TRP, CUS, RST, Retail, DCG OPS, etc.) regarding order fulfilment for both happy flow and operational abnormality (e.g. Typhoon, Silo issues, etc.).
Process optimization
- Contribute to warehouse operation process optimization through analysing, providing inputs and coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders
