WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
- Bachelor or Master degree in Logistics, Information Technology, or equivalent in working experience.
- More than 5 years’ experience from supply chain, logistics or WMS (experience from various roles along the SC is a plus) and experience in leader’s role.
- Familiar with AS/RS system, experience of implementing WMS is a plus.
- Excellent experiences of modern warehouse operations.
- Experience in Microsoft systems and database product, a UNIX system experience, SQL etc experiences would be preferred.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as the main contact person to coordinate with Business Support, Transportation, Customs, Store Support, Trading, Retail, etc in terms of receiving strategy, lead time agreement and maintenance, and store deliveries, external service providers.
- Contact with Transport team in order to secure the LUT resource and capacity.
- Contact with Retail for store deliveries
- Coordinate and support Customs team in order to secure the best practice in place in line with Customs regulation.
Supervise and manage the team to overall coordinate with warehouse operation team to ensure an even flow and to optimize planning adapted to warehouse operation capacity and efficiency.
a) Inbound Planning
- Plan CDC inbound receiving schedule upon bookings according to receiving slot and capacity.
- Secure effective inbound queue management routine.
- Develop and use the inbound prioritization tool to secure highest goods availability at lowest cost.
b) Outbound Planning
- Create the planning schedule as a base for daily operation.
- Ensure the agreed lead-time and OTD goal for store delivery.
- Secure the EQU goal for outbound deliveries.
- Support and co-ordinate the stock build up for new store opening, or other retail activities and special requests from the stores.
Maintain and optimize the warehouse system (ASTRO/GTS) as per IKEA global standard level supporting the local unit to achieve excellence in running operations.
Sit in AP WMS forum and propose change requests & do ROI analysis of new CR on behalf of local CDC.
Handle ASTRO/GTS new releases implementation in local CDC and secure related training to maximally utilize the ASTRO functions.
Be responsible for CDC warehouse efficiency projects, on both system and working method perspective.
Attend regional IWL matrix meetings and join global projects after getting alignment of local CDC Mgr to develop the new solution and pilot in local CDC and support to roll out in other CDCs on region level.
Responsible for range management & warehouse capacity assessment by pallets types, Logistic set up maintenance etc related jobs.
Take lead in pre-study, mapping, warehouse logistics approval, Business Acceptance Test and other related project for Warehouse Logistic set up in CDC start up process.
Support and execute the ideals of "The Human Resource Idea" with regard to recruitment, training, development and leadership of the system team.
